Dear Ranu Welum’s friends and supporters,
In this land, Kalimantan, there are many youths who dream a big dream. They are passionate, resilient and most important, believers. They believe in every possibility, even when they are not in most ideal situation to dream. They decide to fight and make every dream comes true despite of the hurdles and challenges.
I am one of those people who refuse to give up to the reality and determined to make my own future. During my time walking with Ranu Welum Foundation in the past six years, I have learned to let go of fear and find new strength in our unity as community. We want to have stabile green jobs. We want to protect the remain rainforests. We want to give health access to everyone including those who live in the most remote areas. We want to provide better education for our kids. We want to speak on behalf of our community and demand for justice. We want our rights to be acknowledged. We want many things with one purpose: a better future for Dayak people and Kalimantan.
Thank you for staying with us and becoming the part of this long journey.
Let us continue to walk on this path with gratitude.
